The 2025 Parkview Pause Magazine is in and is absolutely fantastic. All students who contributed to the magazine are to be commended. Special thanks to our Editor in Chief, Jordan Magee, and our Editor Emeritus, William Pearson.
If you teach any of the following students, please take a moment and congratulate them on being published. Also, encourage them to come by my room (10.109) and get a copy of the magazine. Girls Lacrosse Has Season Ending Loss to Denmark
Girls lacrosse season came to end last night after a tough game against Denmark for the 2nd round of playoffs. Goals scored by Ryan Rucker and Sophia Berryman. GOAT award of the game went to Carly Rutherford. Grace Moseley in goal had 8 saves and two interceptions.
We had a historic season this year, winning first place in our area for the first time in program history. We have 4 seniors playing in college next year: Grace Moseley, Kim Lam, Meosha Linen, and Ashley Darby. We are proud of this team!

If you have pre-purchased a book, please come pick it up during your lunch period. Yearbooks are available for pre-purchase only through Jostens.com. You must present your student ID or driver’s license in order to pick up your book, and students are not allowed to pick up a book for a friend or sibling.
Senior Letters
Senior letters are a huge tradition at Parkview! The letters are given to the seniors in a large envelope at the senior breakfast preceding rehearsal on May 21st. Please help make this a special event for our seniors by sending a letter to a friend, sibling, son/daughter, or student who is graduating.
If you are planning on writing senior letters, please have them posted before May 1st so we can make sure your special senior receives it. You may also drop letters off to the main entrance vestibule or to the main office until May 15th.
- Please use standard letter-size or greeting card size envelopes.
- Write the student’s legal first and last name on the outside of the envelope.
- Please include letters ONLY. NO gifts!
- Due to volume and time constraints, we will be unable to print emailed messages.
- We will only file envelopes sent to PHS or dropped off at the school by the deadline.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY
The Mountain Park branch of the Gwinnett County Public Library is seeking student volunteers ages 14-17 to assist at their Summer Reading table, welcoming families and signing them up for the program.
Pick as many 2-hour shifts (10am through 6pm) during June and July as you’d like, and you can earn credit for service hours, or just be a part of the library crew.
Contact Stacey Moura at smoura@gwinnettpl.org for more information or to join the team!
Driving on Campus
Parent and student drivers, please remember to follow the instructions of the staff members directing traffic. Please always follow the directions they are giving you. Remember they are directing traffic to help to keep our students and staff members safe and to increase the flow of traffic. In the afternoon, carpool is limited to the Camp Creek side of campus. Please do not drive up Panther Drive in the afternoon unless you have a blue hang tag. If you do, please note, they will be stopping you and redirecting you to the correct carpool lane. Thank you for helping to keep our students and faculty safe.
