JECC
22-23 Template

September 3, 2023
Good Morning,
We are excited to see returning families and students and meet the new incoming families and students this week during Parent Orientation on Wednesday evening, 9/6/23 from 6:30-7:30. Please remember that this is a time for parents/guardians, only, to meet the teacher, learn about preK expectations, and ask questions. There will be required paperwork that will need to be completed before your child starts school the week of September 11th.
Some reminders:
- An email was sent out on Friday asking families to update their child's emergency contact and medical information. See below for instructions on how to update this information in Aspen.
- If your child will not attend JECC in the Fall, please send an email or call the office to let us know, 781-335-0191.
Student Orientation days are for students to see their classroom, meet the staff and meet new friends/classmates. We ask that siblings do no attend as this is a special time for the parent/guardian and their preschooler. Letters were mailed over the summer with your child's student orientation time. If you've misplaced your letter use the link below to access the schedule. Student orientation will be no more than 1 hour in length.
Enjoy the long weekend!

How to update your Aspen Family Portal Account
In preparation for Parent Orientation, we are asking that each family log into ASPEN using the Portal, Login and Password information that has been sent from the technology department with the email entitled "Welcome to the Aspen Family Portal". This will allow you to update your emergency contacts and medical form. It is important that you have 4 emergency contacts in addition to you as the parent/guardian.
We are asking that you complete the following steps by noon on Tuesday, September 5th.
Once you have accessed your account - look at the page in full view. In the middle of the page you will see "Contact Verification and Pink form" a "+ initiation". Click on the '+Initiation" This will bring you a pop-up, click "Next" to make changes to the contacts.
Halfway down the page, click on your student's name in blue. This will bring you to the student's medical information. Be sure to have the most updated information in this form as you will be confirming the information and signing off on the night of parent orientation.
**Be sure to click "OK" once you complete your updates on each form.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to call at 781-335-0191 or email: kristen.clancy@weymouthps.org
