Stress During Finals

Grade 8 Parent's Night at Quinte Mohawk School
We will be hosting a Grade 8 Parents' Night on Tuesday January 16 at 5:30 pm at Quinte Mohawk School. We'll have dinner for everyone and a presentation about the high school experience at Eastside Secondary.
Parents and students will be introduced to a community that celebrates the rich tapestry of backgrounds, cultures, and experiences that make each of us unique. They will have a chance to learn about the variety of programs and pathways that we offer. You will learn about the required and optional courses that grade nine students will choose. This is a good chance to learn about the programs we offer and to meet some of our staff.

Students who are graduating this year and wish to attend College or University should take know of the following applicaton deadlines:
Ontario University equal consideration application deadline - January 15, 2024
Ontario College equal consideration application deadline - Feb 1, 2024

We are very excited to announce the return of a Yearbook Club at Eastside Secondary. Students are working with Ms. Murray to create an 80 page memoir of the 2023-24 school year.
Earlybird* price is just $27.00! You can upgrade to hard cover for $5.00.

School Council - DATE CHANGE
Eastside Secondary School has an active School Council that consists of parents, staff, students, and community members. Meetings are held regularly. The team works together as an advisory group to support excellent programming and to foster ongoing school improvement.
If you are interested, please join us at 5:30 on January 22th in the library. We're going to have pizza for all who attend!
Future meetings will be March 25 and May 27, 2024.
