Important Dates to Remember
Special Thank You from Emil Sitarz, International Exchange Student from Poland
Hello, Principal Ballard!
In this short thank-you letter, I want to tell you how valuable, interesting, and exciting you made my year in the US!
When I first came here, I didn’t know anyone. I wasn’t used to speaking English. I didn’t even know where my classes were. After some time, I started meeting people, getting used to speaking English, and knowing where my classes were. Thank you for understanding and accepting my not-so-perfect English. Especially during the interview (for you it might have been a weekly routine - for me it was something I’ve done for the first time in my life), and making me feel relaxed and happy while recording. It’s inspiring how many things you do, and I’m sure many HHS scholars look up to you and want to be like you in their futures.
Biggest thank you for creating an amazing environment to meet new friends, gain knowledge, and experience American life. I’m truly grateful for every day spent in HHS!
You have contributed to the fact that I’m going to remember this year for the rest of my life!
Thank you for the opportunity!

Yearbooks
If you ordered a yearbook and haven't picked it up yet, check here. You may stop by HHS during building hours.
There are no yearbooks available to purchase. We are sold out.
(rising) Senior Photos - Class of 2026
In the late summer, all seniors will receive instructions to upload their senior photos for the yearbook.
Lifetouch will provide a free senior portrait opportunity during the school portrait days during the fall for any scholar who will not be submitting a senior portrait.
If you are taking your own photos this summer, please adhere to the following guidelines. NOTE: We will zoom in on photos to have approximately the same head size in each picture, so if you are taking photos that incorporate other elements, (a field, a lake, a car, etc.), those elements will likely be cropped out.
- Photos may not include props
- Photos should have a solid background
- Photos must be framed to include the head and shoulders. Distant photos that require a close crop may suffer in quality.
Materials Return
Leave any materials that need to be returned at the Greeter's Desk (Door A) during office hours.
Locker Clean-Out
Scholars with lockers were instructed to clean them out before they left for the summer. Any items left in lockers will either be thrown away or donated.

Registration is now open for youth who are current or rising fourth and fifth graders. The online registration form can be found here.
Cops N’ Kids Fishing is a mentoring program for elementary age children, who are identified by community members as needing an additional opportunity for a positive role model experience or deserving of being recognized for leadership at school, home, or in the community!
Working in partnership with local businesses, we are able to educate our youth in the importance of appreciating our natural resources and encourage them to enjoy outdoor recreational opportunities. At the same time, we are creating and fostering positive relationships with the police. This positive mentorship creates lifelong memories and builds trust. Learn more.
