Lil Steamer Families --
I want to inform you that your child’s Renaissance Social-Emotional Behavior Risk Screener (SAEBRS/mySAEBRS) report was sent home this week.
This report is a proactive screener we use to better understand your child's social and emotional strengths and areas where they might need additional support.
We encourage you to review this information, as it can be a valuable tool to assist you and your child's teacher during the upcoming Parent/Teacher Conferences on November 6th and 7th.
Thank you for your continued partnership!

Reflecting on the First Quarter: A Successful Beginning
We are pleased to announce the successful conclusion of the first quarter of the academic year. This has been a period of significant achievement, marked by extensive learning, the formation of new friendships, and inspiring progress throughout all grade levels.
The official close of the first quarter is today, October 17. This milestone serves as the initial benchmark in your child's educational journey for the year. It is important to view the quarter grade as a comprehensive progress report, not a final assessment. It offers a valuable opportunity to recognize initial successes and to precisely identify areas where a student may benefit from additional support as we transition to more complex material in the second quarter.
Keeo in mind that Parent-Teacher Conferences have been scheduled for Thursday, November 6, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and Friday, November 7, from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Detailed communication regarding conference scheduling and sign-up procedures will be sent home shortly.

The benefits of limiting screen time for your child would include, but are not limited to: improved sleep habits, better focus and brain function, increased academic success, decrease in obesity, better vision, and lower risk of anxiety and depression.
Meet the FBP/FES Family!
It is easy to learn about the teacher that your child/children have or have had. However, at FBP and FES, we are one large team. For this reason, we will introduce and give some fun information about each of our family members in our newsletter!
