Position Announcement

We are pleased to announce that Timothy Williams will serve as Head Girls Basketball Coach at Sand Creek High School for the 26-27 school year. He brings a strong background in leadership, service, and coaching to the program.

Williams is a graduate of Widefield High School and grew up in the Widefield area of Colorado Springs. After high school, he served four years in the United States Army at Fort Carson. He currently works as a Project Manager II for Colorado Springs Utilities.

Williams has spent the last three years as the JV and Assistant Head Girls Basketball Coach at Palmer High School under Coach Tommaine Cooper.

“What excites me most about the opportunity to coach at Sand Creek is the tenacity of these athletes. They’re a scrappy, competitive group that refuses to back down from challenges or adversity. Having coached against them for the past three seasons, I’ve watched this program grow, compete, and earn respect year after year.”

Throughout his life, whether in the military, his career, or coaching, Williams has demonstrated a commitment to embracing challenges, persevering through adversity, and continuously improving. He believes this mindset aligns well with the Sand Creek program and looks forward to building something meaningful while pushing the program to new heights.

Williams is a proud father of two daughters, Alina (11) and Jaelyn (3), who inspire him every day.
