EVENTS THIS WEEK
1. Marching Rehearsals, daily, 7:00-8:30a
2. Vertical Raise fundraiser, continues / ENDS Aug 31
3. Sectionals/Masterclasses during class this week (NO PRIVATE LESSONS ON SECTIONAL DAYS)
- SYMPHONIC & WIND ENSEMBLE - Tuesdays Woodwinds / Wednesdays Brass
- Concert - Wednesday
4. Booster Meeting, Tuesday, 7pm in Band Hall
5. Percussion load equipment, Friday during 1st period
6. Football Game #1, HOME vs. Midland Lee HS, 7p @ Clark Stadium
- Uniform Rack Locations: Woodwinds in Practice Rm Hallway & Uniform Rm; Guard in Ens. Room; Brass & Perc. in Band Hall
- REQUIRED ATTIRE: Dri-fit shirt, grey band shorts, black ANKLE socks, marching shoes
- Students out of uniform will not march
- NO JEWELRY
- 4:30p: Retrieve marching shoes from garment bag
- 4:40p: Load equipment
- 5:00p: Dinner on porch
- 5:30p: Load Bus
- 6:05p: Arrive at Clark Stadium
- 6:35p: Grandioso step-out
- 7:00p: Kickoff
- AFTER GAME:
- Unload Bus
- Check-in uniform (only shoes this week) on your designated Uniform Rack
- Get instrument from truck / store in locker or take home
DUE THIS WEEK
1. Classroom materials - PAST DUE
- Objective sheets, rhythm objectives will be checked in binder TODAY
2. Band binder, flip folder, lyre - name clearly marked on ALL (test grade) - DUE TODAY
3. Band Spring Trip Deposit $90 - DUE upon registration
- Payment #2 - $113 - DUE Sept 21
ASSIGNMENTS
1. WE, SYM - All-State Music Evaluation 1st 1/2 Etude #1 - DUE Sept 1/2 (6 Cumulative All-State Test = Semester 2 Chair Placement)
2. CON - F & Bb Major Scales & Arpeggios - DUE Sept 2 (6 Cumulative Tests = Semester 2 Chair Placement)
