Mustang Message
October 3, 2025
Magnificent Mustangs
Ian approaches everything with a positive attitude. He is eager to participate, and always supports his own learning by making sure to complete assignments when he returns from absences. He has such a positive attitude, and he regularly has a skip in his step! He sets a positive example for all his students, and ensures that he completes his work.
Gauge approaches every challenge with perseverance. He is diligent in completing his work and making sure that it is done correctly and completely. He sets an example by modeling a positive work ethic.
Sawyer praised a peer who was struggling with reading. The peer had a HUGE smile when he got praised.
Riley cleaned up all the headphones and made sure the cords were wrapped correctly. The cords were tangled and a mess before Riley helped!
Murphy helped organize the classroom library. The library books were a mess before Murphy organized them!
Celia always works hard to get her assignments done and has a positive attitude while doing it. She sets a positive example by modeling a strong work ethic
Karlee is an exemplary student and classmate. She completes her assignments on time, never has to be reminded of the task at hand, and helps out when needed. It helps the classroom to be a positive and safe learning environment.
Karsyn is always willing to help out with anything her teacher or peers may need. She helps our classroom run like a well oiled machine!
Hagan comes in every morning, reads the board, and follows the directions on the board without being told. He sets a positive example for his peers and models the expectation every day.
Gannon is always eager to participate in our classroom discussions. It sets a positive example and encourages critical thinking amongst his classmates.
Evan cared so much about his classmate who was sad that he gave him a Feeling Buddy to help him feel better. He showed his classmate that he cared about him; he also helped him feel better!
Tommy offered to collect and put away the spinners and dominoes that were left on the floor after Work Places before I asked anyone to pick them up. The pieces were put back so they would not get lost and the floor was safe for everyone to walk on without tripping.
Kinsli took the time to care about a classmate who looked really sad and was sitting alone at recess. Her classmate felt better after you talked to her and joined in playing at recess! Well done, Kinsli!!!
Torian went out of his way to clean up someone else's water spill by the water fountain. He kept the hallways safe so no one slipped in the water
Elora took the time to care for her classmate who was crying. She helped her classmate feel better when she was sad! Way to go, Elora!
Lincoln voluntarily waits and holds the door open for the kindergarteners to exit the gym every single day. It is very courteous and thoughtful for Lincoln to think about other students and staff. It enables Ms. Willemin to be able to get the kids safely out of the gym.
Henry has been doing an amazing job leading our small group novel study discussions. Henry comes prepared each day, makes sure to read his novel before our group meeting and actively participates and shares his ideas related to his novel! Henry is often the first to share and shows how dedicated he his to his novel study! He shows immense responsibility and set a great example for others!
Sienna and Presleigh have demonstrated true leadership in the classroom! During our whole class science and social studies lessons both Sienna and Presleigh are often the first to actively participate and share their ideas. They ask amazing questions that get the whole class talking and make our discussion lively and interesting. They set an amazing example of active participation and demonstrate a love of learning!

Joe Corbi’s Fundraiser Kickoff
Our big fundraiser starts in a few days! Our goal is to raise $10,000.00 for important items and services that are not currently funded at this time.
We are asking ALL parents to pre-register their student(s) here:
https://www.shopfund.com/parentregister
Make sure you use Group Code: 4KMTL
Please get at least one person to support our fundraiser before our official kick-off day. Any student that is registered and adds 10 contacts will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win over 1,000 prizes. How cool would it be if we took a chunk out of our goal BEFORE the fundraiser even starts?
