Welcome to the 25-26 School Year!

... to set the alarm clock.

... to find that right outfit.

... to reconnect with your work friends.

... to learn about your new principal and all the new and amazing things that are coming for this school year!

I know that all of that may not sound fun right now. But I hope that as we get together and prepare for this school year, you will look for the rainbows that are hiding behind the clouds!

We have a lot of work to do and our time as a campus team is short this year. Please know that there are quite a few changes coming that the leadership team will share during these coming days. My ask is that you are open and understand that we are all learning together! The leadership team is here to help and support you!

Below, I will outline some specifics about the week. The BTS calendar and Job Alike Flyers will be attached to the email as well. If you have any questions, please ask!

I am excited to work alongside all of you! You will find that I like to be in the mix with everyone - staff and students and parents!

Happy Belated Birthday to Amanda Bowman! Her birthday was on Saturday, August 2nd!

Monday, August 4th:

• First day back for all staff. We will begin at 8 am in the cafeteria. Please be ready to start at that time. Breakfast items will be available as you enter.
• Dress for Monday is Spirit Wear - please wear a CPMS shirt or school colors along with your jeans
• Lunch will be on your own so you can reconnect with your work friends or make new friends!

Tuesday, August 5th:

• Job-Alike day for all teachers. Please look at the Job Alike Flyer to see where you are expected to be this day. PE, History and AVID will be here at CPMS. Please arrive on time and stay engaged with the learning.
• Dress for this day will be professional.
• Let's set the standard!

Wednesday, August 6th:

• This is a 2nd Job Alike day for some. Please look at the Job Alike Flyer to see where you are expected to be this day.
• If you do not have Job Alike on Wednesday, you will report to campus by 8 am. This day will be for you to plan. Some of the Leadership Team will be on campus to help and support you while others have off-campus training.
• Dress for this day depends on what you will be doing - those going to Job Alike should dress professionally. Those who are planning on campus, may dress in business casual.

Thursday, August 7th:

• This is a Teacher Workday. This is a day where you can get your room organized and/or continue planning with your team! This is another day to wear your jeans.
• The Leadership Team will be on campus. Please reach out for any assistance you may need!

Friday, August 8th:

• We will start the day at EHS for our Capturing Kids Hearts Recharge! The CKH Recharge will start at 8 am in the auditorium. Please plan to carpool from campus with your friends. Wear your new shirt with jeans.
• Beginning at 2 pm, we will hold our Set Up for Success Day (formerly known as Cav Camp and Readiness). Everyone has a part to play in this! Details will be shared with you on Monday. This is a Better Together Opportunity!

Please remember that our amazing custodial team has spent the summer making the campus look amazing! There are signs on each classroom door reminding you that if you need help moving large and/or heavy items, please ask the team for help.
