Ohio Literacy Leads Partner with Ohio Literacy Association

Have you heard the buzz about the science of reading? Ohio's Plan to Raise Literacy Achievement is a guide to leverage literacy for sustainable school improvement by implementing the science of reading from preschool through grade 12. But you may be asking, what is the science of reading? This webinar will build foundational knowledge in the conceptual models that support what scientists know about how reading pathways are built in the brain and the types of instruction that is required to facilitate learning. Join us for a brief overview and question and answer session. Ohio Literacy Leads, Michelle Elia and Carolyn Turner will share an overview and also answer your questions about implementing the science of reading in your school and classroom.
