We are going to see great things from this partnership. Rising COVID infections rates are concerning. MO's vaccination rate lags behind national rate of 55.5% at 45.4%. To Enhance the Quality for All...

July is National Parks & Recreation Month. Every park has a history made up of thousands of stories that help to define it. Parks are at the center of so many experiences & memories — moments that park/recreation professionals help make happen. Our local parks are often our first experiences in nature, our introduction to a favorite hobby or physical activity. They are places to gather with friends & family, spaces to celebrate life’s special moments, spots of respite & healing, sites that connect us with essential community services, & so much more. Local parks have been essential throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, with many community members finding a new appreciation for the essential spaces we manage & vital programs provided. This year’s theme for Park/Recreation Month is “Our Park/Recreation Story,” & we want to highlight the stories of how our community is stronger, more vibrant & more resilient because of parks/recreation.

Choose Your Attitude!

"ES Parks & Rec. has been a wonderful way to entertain my children over the summer. All of the activities from Art in the Park to Popsicle's on the Patio, Movies & Find it Friday's have become a family summer tradition for us. They look forward to all of it. They also participate in some of the TNT sports and that has been a fun way to introduce them at a young age. It is fun for the whole family & I brag to other people about how lucky our community is to have such a great resource." - Tiffany [Testimony found on ESPR website]
