Homecoming Week

St. James Community and Parents/Guardians,

Homecoming week is a special time in St. James Public Schools as we come together to celebrate our students, our community, and our alumni. This year’s Homecoming celebration will take place the week of September 15–19, 2025.

Homecoming is about more than just the games and events; it’s about showing pride in our schools, supporting one another, and celebrating what it means to be a Saint. The goal of this week is to bring students, staff, families, alumni, and community members together in a spirit of unity and tradition.

As we celebrate, I want to remind everyone of the importance of making smart, respectful, and safe choices throughout the week. Homecoming should be a time of joy and pride, not of risk or regret. We ask for your support in reinforcing positive behavior and discouraging reckless or inappropriate actions. It is always unacceptable to damage property, harass others, or engage in unsafe activities. Together, we can ensure that Homecoming reflects the very best of our students and our community.

Thank you to our parents, families, local businesses, law enforcement, and community members who continue to support our schools and make events like Homecoming a success.

We look forward to seeing you throughout the week as we celebrate St. James Pride. Let’s make this Homecoming memorable for all the right reasons.

La semana de bienvenida es un momento especial en las Escuelas Públicas de St. James, ya que nos reunimos para celebrar a nuestros estudiantes, nuestra comunidad y nuestros exalumnos. La celebración de bienvenida de este año tendrá lugar del 15 al 19 de septiembre.

La semana de bienvenida es mucho más que juegos y eventos; se trata de mostrar orgullo por nuestras escuelas, apoyarnos mutuamente y celebrar lo que significa ser un santista. El objetivo de esta semana es unir a estudiantes, personal, familias, exalumnos y miembros de la comunidad en un espíritu de unidad y tradición.

Mientras celebramos, quiero recordarles a todos la importancia de tomar decisiones inteligentes, respetuosas y seguras durante la semana. La semana de Bienvenida debe ser un momento de alegría y orgullo, no de riesgo o arrepentimiento. Les pedimos su apoyo para fomentar un comportamiento positivo y desalentar las acciones imprudentes o inapropiadas. Siempre es inaceptable dañar la propiedad, acosar a otros o participar en actividades inseguras. Juntos, podemos asegurar que la semana de Bienvenida refleje lo mejor de nuestros estudiantes y nuestra comunidad.

Gracias a nuestros padres, familias, empresas locales, fuerzas del orden y miembros de la comunidad que continúan apoyando a nuestras escuelas y hacen que eventos como la Semana de Bienvenida sean un éxito.

Esperamos verlos durante toda la semana para celebrar el Orgullo de St. James. Hagamos que esta fiesta sea memorable por todas las razones correctas.
