Listening Conferences - August 13th!
Listening Conference invites have gone out. If you did not receive your email invite please contact info@rensec.org. This one-on-one meeting between families and the Crew Advisor provides a dedicated time to share hopes, concerns, and goals for the upcoming year. It's a chance for Advisors to learn more about each student as a whole person—not just as a learner—and to begin building the strong relationships that support success throughout the year!
🌟🌟🌟Parents and Students Should Attend Listening Conferences! 🌟🌟🌟
Families should plan to spend about an hour on campus — 20 minutes for the Listening Conference, plus time to explore the school, walk schedules, and ensure everything’s set for the first day of school.

Adventure Ed Physical Forms Required!
Safety is always our top priority! Adventure Education Voyage safety begins with ensuring all students have a current physical. Physical Forms are valid for 365 days. If your child already has a current physical from within the past year—and their activity falls within that 365-day window—you’re all set! However, students new to RSS must still submit a copy of their Sports Physical Form to the school, whether it’s newly completed or dated within the past 365 days.
⭐⭐⭐Action Item: Each family should complete and return this physical form as soon as possible, prior to their voyage.⭐⭐⭐

🚨 Attention 8th & 11th Grade Families! 🚨
Our 8th and 11th grade students head out on overnight voyages shortly after school begins,
so be sure to get your student’s physical form completed as soon as possible!

School Lunches
Lunch is on the house!
School lunch at Renaissance is provided free* of charge to all students through DCSD Nutrition Services, with additional à la carte items available for purchase. We encourage all families to complete the Free and Reduced-Price Meal Application—even if you don’t think you qualify—as it helps support school funding and can provide additional benefits like fee waivers. You’ll also find helpful links on our website for the weekly menu and dietary accommodations.
*Student meals are currently free through Colorado’s Healthy Meals for All program, but funding may change based on November ballot initiatives.
