LMHS - Summer Updates

• All Student MUST register on their Registration date.
• Students will receive a hard copy of their schedule. (Any student not in attendance will receive their schedule on the first day of school)
• Students may purchased online or in-person (link is below for the Spirit Card).
• Student Fees will be collected using one of the following methods: Cash, Check, or Credit Card.
• Fee Waiver: Only Students who qualify for Free or Reduced Lunch are eligible for Fee Waiver. (Please be sure to complete the application on the JCPS Parent Place - linked below). Spirit Cards are not eligible for Fee Waiver.
• Students will receive their locker number and combination on their schedule.
• Student ID’s will be taken during Registration.
• The LMHS Campus Store will be open during all 3 registration days.
• All Campus Store purchases are final. No refunds will be given.

• Senior and Junior Parking Permits CAN ONLY BE PURCHASED IN PERSON. More information is below in Other Information.

Parking permits will be issued/sold on a first-come, first-served basis in the Main Cafeteria on registration days. In order to purchase a parking permit, students must have the following items with them:

1. $20 (Cash)
2. Proof of registration and fees being paid.
3. Proof that student is in good standing at Male HS and that student does not have an outstanding Chromebook, textbook, and/or library book.
4. Valid Driver's License (Permits are NOT accepted).
5. Year / Make / Model / Color of Vehicle (Ex: 1968 Green Ford Mustang)
6. License Plate Number (Ex: BRO 549 or ULROCKS)

Parents may pick up their student's parking permit if they have everything required including the student's valid driver's license.

SPOTS WILL NOT BE HELD FOR ANY REASON. STUDENTS MAY NOT PURCHASE A SPOT FOR ANOTHER STUDENT.

Male Community:

Our online portal, via MySchoolBucks, for purchasing the 2023-24 LMHS Spirit Card is now open.

Spirit Cards are $225 and offer a great value. There is a processing fee paid to MySchoolBucks which makes the card total $234.25.

Purchasing a Spirit Card online will allow students and families to avoid the fees station during Registration which will make your time on campus much shorter. Any student/family that orders a Spirit Card should print their receipt/proof of payment to receive your student's schedule during Registration.

For those that are not aware, the LMHS Spirt Card includes:

• Registration Fees
• Class Dues
• Yearbook
• Class Fees (Excluding JROTC, Music, Art, and AP Exams)
• Entrance into all LMHS HOME Athletic Events
• LMHS Homecoming Dances

Spirit Cards can be purchased online or in-person, at Registration with cash, check, or credit card.

The online portal will close on Sunday, July 23, 2023, @ 11:59 PM. After that time, all Spirit Cards must be purchased in person.

JCPS Parent Portal

The JCPS Parent Portal allows you to track your child’s academic progress and develop a partnership with your child’s teachers. It is a secure and convenient way to monitor your child’s attendance, assignments, daily grades, report cards and class schedule as well as bus and health information.

If you do not currently have a Portal Account use the following steps:

• Login to the JCPS Homepage (www.jefferson.kyschools.us)
• Click the “Parents Tab”
• Click on “Parent Portal”
• Click on “Click here to log on or set up an account”
• In the 2nd section, click on “Set up your account here
• Follow the directions. Your email must match the one that is on file at your child’s school
• Within 48 hours, you will receive a return email acknowledging the creation of your account and how to proceed.
