Parent - Teacher Conferences

Parent-Teacher Conferences are scheduled for Tuesday, November 3rd (no school for students). This is a great opportunity for parents and guardians to meet with teachers, discuss their child’s progress, and learn more about ways to support learning at home. We look forward to meaningful conversations that strengthen the partnership between families and our school community.

Middle School Students (Gr 6, 7 & 8) & Specials (Gr 4-8)

Middle School Students (Grades 6–8) and/or to meet with Specials Teachers (Grades 4–8), please schedule a conference by selecting a time slot using the Sign-Up Genius link found here.

PreK - Grade 5 Students

Your child’s teacher will reach out to you with information on how to schedule conference times. If you have any questions or concerns about your child’s class, please don’t hesitate to contact their teacher directly.

Halloween at School

We will celebrate Halloween in school on Friday, October 30th. All students may dress in their Halloween Costumes. Students will still be expected to learn before/after their classroom parties, costumes should be comfortable and adhere to dress code. Please no Halloween masks/covered faces, or weapons.

If you have questions about your child's classroom party, please reach out to your room parent/classroom teacher.

If a student has an inflatable costume, it will have to be deflated for anything other than the classroom party.

Middle School Dance

Our Student Council is planning a Middle School Dance for Friday, October 16th from 7:30pm until 9:00pm. Admission is $5 and DeSales students in grades 6-8 are invited to attend.

Guests may wear their Halloween costumes. Please no masks, weapons or covered faces.

Alice in Wonderland, Jr. Auditions

We are pleased to share that this year’s school musical will be Alice in Wonderland, Jr. Auditions will be held in the DeSales Music Room on Wednesday, October 21st during the following time:

Grades 4th-8th: After school from 3-5pm (4th & 5th grade students will be done around 4pm, 6th-8th grade students will be done between 4:30-5pm depending on callbacks)

Students should bring a copy of the Audition form with them. Each student will be asked to sing a few bars from the song provided for their grade levels (see attached). Call backs will be done during the above time frame. Students should bring something to do quietly while they wait to be called for their turn to audition.

Permission slips, audition forms and audition music will be sent home with all students in grades 4-8. If you would like a copy of the additional audition music (grades 6-8), please see DeSales Music Teacher, Mrs. Davis.

To add money to your student's account for lunch extras (such as ice cream, chips, etc.) please visit MySchoolBucks.com to create and add money to your students account. Cash and check payments will also still be accepted. Please use MySchoolBucks in place of your FACTS account for cafeteria purchases.
