Eden Valley-Watkins High School
Easter/Spring break will be April 3rd - April 6th. We will not have school on those days.
On Friday, April 24th, students will be released two hours early. The High School will dismiss students at 1:12. Students in good academic standing will be able leave school anytime after 12:15.
Math assessments for 11th grade and Science assessments for 8th and 10th grade will be on April 9th. Reading assessments for 7th, 8th and 10th grade will be on April 15th & 16th. Math assessments for 7th and 8th grade will be on April 22nd and 23rd. Please help your student prepare for this by getting a good night's rest and encouraging them to eat breakfast the morning of testing.
Congratulations to Abi Kluver, Lily Lydeen, Graci Nierenhausen, Nikki Schmitz, Maria Ulloa, and Makenzie Weber on being selected for the Highschool Art Show at the Paramount Gallery in St. Cloud. Their work will be on display during the month of April and can be seen during regular gallery hours.
Also, all Senior students pay a class fee of $25 to help with all events and activities we have planned for the Spring. If you haven't already, please remind your Senior to submit their class fee as soon as possible. Payments can be made via SchoolPay or cash can be brought to Sarah Geislinger in the Media Center.

The Agricultural Mechanics team placed 4th at the regional contest qualifying for state. Team members include James Barka, Carson DeMorett, Zach Holthaus, Jake Moser, Owin Niewind, Ryan Notch, Ellie Peters, and Dylan Vossen.
EVW FFA has earned a gold ranking through the National Chapter Award Program, and is ranked as one of the Top 10 Chapters in Minnesota! The chapter will be honored at the Minnesota State FFA Convention at the end of the month.
Just a reminder that if your student has an unplanned absence from school, please call or email Becky Stenger (bstenger@evw.k12.mn.us or 320-453-2900) in the high school office the day of the absence. Please contact Becky in advance for all planned absences.
