Good Evening Mustang Families,

We are excited to welcome our Mustang families to the 2026–2027 school year! Our McCullough team has been working hard to prepare for an amazing year of learning, growth, and connection. On Monday, August 31st, we will welcome our 6th-grade students only for their first day of middle school. On Tuesday, September 1st, our 7th- and 8th-grade students will join them, and our entire Mustang family will officially be back together!

This year, we are committed to being Champions for Every Student and creating a school community where every student feels supported, challenged, and inspired to succeed. Please review this Family Update for important information to help your family prepare for a successful start.

First Day Logistics

As a reminder, our doors open at 7:55 AM for students, advisory meetings in homeroom will begin at 8:15am. Students are considered late if they arrive after 8:15am. All walkers and car riders will enter the building through the front door and buses will drop off and pick up in the rear of the building. Please be sure to review our car rider norms below if you will be dropping your student off or picking your student up.

Transportation & Dismissal Information

One of the most important things your child should know when they arrive at school is how they will be going home at the end of the day. Please review your child’s transportation information in Infinite Campus and make sure they know their bus number or whether they are a walker or car rider.

Taking a few moments to review this information with your child before school will help us ensure a safe, smooth, and organized dismissal. If you have any questions about your child’s transportation information, please reach out to the main office, and one of our secretaries will be happy to assist you.

Fall Sports Tryouts

We’re excited to kick off the fall sports season! Tryouts for cheerleading, soccer, and field hockey will begin very soon. Please be sure to review the Athletics section of this newsletter for detailed information on tryout dates, times, and requirements.

Let's have an amazing week as a school community, and remember MUSTANGS RUN TOGETHER!

Sincerely,

Mrs. Hyacinth Lewis, Principal
