Behavior Reminders
A Behavior Message from the Dean of Students, Mr. Green:
As we move into the spring months and the weather begins to warm up, we often see an increase in student energy, which can sometimes lead to an uptick in behavior concerns and incidents around the building and on buses. This is a great time for us to work together to remind our students of the expectations that help keep our school community strong and safe.
At Elephant’s Fork, we continue to focus on our core expectations: being Safe, Respectful, and Responsible. We ask that families help reinforce these values at home by encouraging students to keep their hands to themselves, make positive choices, and treat others with kindness.
These expectations apply throughout the entire school day, including on the bus, in the classroom, on the playground, in the bathroom, and in the cafeteria. When students consistently practice these behaviors in all settings, it creates a safe and supportive environment for everyone.
As students return from Spring Break, please continue reinforcing these expectations daily. Students who receive a Pre-Referral or Referral due to behavior during the week of April 13–17 may lose the opportunity to participate in Field Day on Friday, April 17. Your support makes a big difference in helping students make positive choices and end the week and school year successfully.
