Dear Students, Parents, and Staff,

As we approach the much-anticipated spring break, I want to take a moment to reflect on the hard work and dedication that everyone has shown throughout this school year. March has been filled with challenges and triumphs, and I am incredibly proud of how our students have continued to push forward with enthusiasm and perseverance.

Spring break is just around the corner, offering a well-deserved opportunity for rest and rejuvenation. Whether you’re planning to relax at home, travel, or simply enjoy some time with family and friends, I encourage everyone to take this time to recharge.

When we return, we will continue to work together towards finishing the year strong. I’m excited for the remaining months ahead, filled with more growth, learning, and achievement.

Thank you to our dedicated staff for their ongoing commitment and to our supportive parents for their partnership. Let’s all come back refreshed and ready to embrace the opportunities that spring brings!

Children can’t learn if they aren’t present in school, so attendance is a must. We can influence attendance and poor attendance can be prevented. Parents — especially in the earlier years — are best positioned to ensure children attend school and to build the expectation around attendance.

Applications for our AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) Program are due tomorrow, March 21st at 11:45 AM!

Application Assistance: Volunteers will host our second application work-session tomorrow, March 21st, during Compass. Students needing help with their application can visit the AVID Room -253- and volunteers will be present to provide assistance! Questions? Contact Ms. Shepherd at shepherds@fultonschools.org

Ridgeview Charter Middle School will be hosting our annual IB Showcase on Thursday, March 27th, from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM. Our students will be selecting and presenting a favorite MYP Project. Musicians will be performing in the halls. You don't want to miss it! Please ask your student(s) what special project they will be presenting and visit as many classrooms as you can. Reach out to Dr. Kathleen McCaffrey if you have additional questions. We hope to see you!

RCMS Students will take the Georgia Milestones on the following dates. Make sure to tune into Panther Tales for important success stips as we get closer to testing!

It's time to celebrate the hard work and achievement of our students. We have a fun afternoon planned for the students with treats, karaoke and a student v. staff basketball needed. Please sign up here if you are able to help!

AVID Students explored Kennesaw State University (including a lunch at the dining hall!), attended the SSEF Steam Expo and received wisdom from guest Speaker Pascale Rocca- Program Development Manager for the US Soccer Federation!

RCMS Band Students performed incredibly well during their Large Group Performance Evaluations. Did you know that RCMS has one of the largest middle school band programs in the entire county?

The sun was shining bright as parent and alumni volunteers helped pass out pizza during our Spring Sports Foundation spirit night.

Panther Baseball (A) hams it up for Sensei's camera before beating the St. Martins Warriors 12-6 in one of the best games of the Season!
