“Do It For Hewitt” is a bike event like none other and a fundraiser for Hewitt Sluyter and his family.
Hewitt Sluyter is 10 years old and just finished his 4th grade at Shaw Elementary. Last month he was rushed to Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock for a surgery to remove a baseball-sized tumor found in his brain. He has since been diagnosed with a rare form of brain cancer.
Do It For Hewitt takes place on the Summer Solstice and is intended to raise awareness for Hewitt’s cancer, raise funds for Hewitt's treatment and cheer him on as he begins his road to recovery. The community is encouraged to come out and ride with them, cheer them on and make a donation.
