Summer Camps

These camps are not endorsed or sponsored by Barton Hills - we are sharing the flyers as a courtesy.

Camp Red Dragons is back! Hosted by the Austin High School Theatre Program, this exciting week-long summer camp is designed to introduce students to the world of theatre through acting, singing, and dancing.

This year’s camp will feature a Magical Disney Medley, giving campers the opportunity to explore theatre through the music, characters, and stories they know and love.

Camp will run from June 8–12, culminating in a special showcase performance on June 12 at 7:00 PM in the Austin High School Performing Arts Center, located at 1715 W. Cesar Chavez St.

We would love the opportunity to welcome your students, especially those who will one day be part of the Austin High School community. Camp Red Dragons is a wonderful way for young performers to build confidence, creativity, and friendships while having fun in a supportive environment.

Calling all rising 3rd–8th grade Future Maroons! Join Austin High football coaches and players for a fun, non-contact camp focused on building fundamentals, confidence, and a love for the game. Open to all skill levels, the camp will be held June 18–19from 9:00 AM–12:00 PM on the Austin High turf field.

Mini Maroon Summer Camp:

We are calling all future Maroons to join us this summer at Jimmy Clay Golf Course for AHS Mini-Maroon Golf Camp. This camp is open to all K-5th grade students and is intended for golfers of all skill levels from beginners to advanced. Mini Maroon Camp will be held at Jimmy Clay Golf Course from June 1st through the 4th from 9am to noon. If you have any questions please email Coach Lebo at nick.lebo@austinisd.org
