🌺🌴 Tropical Day This Friday! 🌴🌺

Get ready to kick off spring break with some tropical fun! This Friday is Tropical Day at school! Students are encouraged to wear their favorite tropical-themed outfits — think bright colors, floral prints, and fun accessories!

Reminders:
✅ Clothing should be school-appropriate and not distracting.
✅ Students will still have gym and recess, so please make sure they wear comfortable shoes and clothing that allows them to move and play safely.

Calling all Bobcat parents: Pre-order Bobcat Bash wristbands and other important details
As we gear up for the annual Bobcat Bash on Friday, April 11, a few reminders:

Wristband presale underway between now and Wednesday, April 9: Pre-order your wristband to save $2 off per wristband ($18 presale, $20 at the door): Wristbands provide:
- Unlimited access to games
- VIP door access
- 5 raffle tickets
- Hair coloring
- Face painting

Order today! Payment must be made prior to April 9 to receive the $18 presale pricing. Pre-ordered wristbands will be sent home Friday, April 11, with your oldest child.

Silent auction basket items due Friday, April 4: Theme & donation info is attached. Get creative and reach out to your employers, neighbors or friends to donate as well!

Coloring contest entries due Monday, April 7: Is your child an artist? Coloring contest sheets will be sent home today! A winner from each grade will receive 5 free raffle tickets. Make sure to include the student's name & grade on the sheet.

Do you have a child starting kindergarten next year? Join us for Kindergarten Orientation on April 9! Be sure to enroll your child as soon as possible through ParentVUE. If you have any questions about enrollment, please contact the Enrollment Center at 763-585-7350.

It's that time of year when the weather changes daily....sometimes hourly! Please make sure your student is prepared for recess every single day. Here are some tips for success....

• Label every single item! This way, when students remove a jacket or hat or mittens, we know who they belong to and can quickly return lost items.
• Send boots! The ground is very wet this time of year. Boots will ensure their feet stay dry.
• Send extra socks! Just in case their socks get wet.
• Layers! The temperature can vary greatly between arrival and recess. Having layers on hand will ensure your child is prepared for whatever the temperature ends up being when they are outside.

Community feedback from January and early February helped to narrow and refine proposed attendance boundary scenarios. Specifically, scenarios 1 and 2 moved forward with some adjustments based on comments received. Timeline: These events in March will likely wrap up districtwide feedback opportunities. The school board is expected to approve final attendance boundary changes in May. The new attendance boundaries will then go into effect fall 2026.
