BDCHS Parent Newsletter

Don't forget - our PDQ fundraiser is our MAIN way of funding our clubs and teams! Encourage your students to sell PDQ cards. When you turn in your envelope, you will see a spot where you can designate where you want your earnings to go - your team, your club, etc. The first five cards each student sells goes to PAC toward school programing and events. THEN, your group will earn $3 of every card you sell after that!

LAST YEAR, we had several clubs and groups that earned OVER $1000 to fund activities, tshirts, and events for their group.

The PDQ cards are a great deal:

• $10 gift card costs just $7 - every time you use it, it is like a 30% off sale!
• Cards NEVER expire!
• You can use gift cards in addition to specials like $5 off of $15 or the BOGO Tender platters that PDQ occasionally offers!
• $3 from every card comes directly back to our school
• The gift cards sell themselves - everyone LOVES the savings and the PDQ 🐔🐔🐔

Orders can also be placed online - go to bit.ly/PDQcards

Kick start your fundraising by turning in an order with payment for 50 cards or more by tomorrow morning at the start of school (Thursday at 8 am). Those students turning in orders will be entered in a drawing to win a $50 Amazon gift card! GOOD LUCK!

We have opportunities in a variety of programs. We can customize your volunteering to your availability and needs. Being involved is a great way to be connected to the school, meet other parents and show your student how much you value and support their educational experience! Email PAC today to find out more! We would LOVE to have you join us!

We want to hear from you, our students! Has your teacher or staff person gone above and beyond their regular call of duty? Is there something special they have done for you? Have they spent extra time helping you with something you didn't understand or maybe just gave you a helping hand when you needed it the most? Fill out the google form and if your entry is picked, you and your teacher/staff person will receive something to cheer about! This is an ongoing program of the PAC Sunshine Committee!

Our nomination form is now "live" for our Teacher/Staff Spotlight! Fill out the GOOGLE FORM to nominate a special person! THANK YOU!

BDCHS is one of five highs schools in Hillsborough County designated a “School of Excellence” by the Florida Department of Education. This is a result of improving to an A rating and maintaining that rating for multiple years. A huge thank the faculty, staff, students and parents for their continued support. This recognition would not have been possible without you!
