Nichols Leadership Academy News #18
A Leader in Me School
Sunday Announcement!
Hello Navigators!.
We have a lot of fun and exciting activities and learning this week. Friday will be our last day before winter break. School will resume on January 12, 2026.
Join us at the PTO meeting this Wednesday (Dec 17)
The PTO meeting will be held at 6:00 PM in the MPR. All families are welcome—your voice and participation make a big difference!
We have Spirit Days this week. Wednesday is dress like your favorite holiday movie character, Thursday is ugly sweater day and Friday is pajama day.
Our lost and found is absolutely full again. Please look for your child's clothing this week as we will be donating the leftover items over Winter Break.
Our Student Lighthouse Leadership group has decided to run a toy drive. Help bring joy to children this season! We’re collecting new, unopened, never-used toys and books for our student led holiday drive. All donations will go directly to Toys for Tots, supporting families in our community.
Can't wait to see everyone tomorrow. Have a great night!

Meal Accommodations:
We are working to gather the Medical Meal Accommodation forms for the 2025–26 school year.
These forms must be submitted to our Nutrition Services Department each school year for any student who requires meal modifications. This applies to both new and returning students.
Per USDA requirements, medical statements must be updated annually, even if a student’s condition or accommodation has not changed. This ensures we have the most accurate documentation to support each student’s needs.
Parents or legal guardians are responsible for submitting completed forms to both the district nurse and the Nutrition Services Department. Forms must be signed by a licensed medical provider to be considered valid.
Reach out with any questions or for any assistance.
