We know that Pickerington shows up BIG when our community needs us!

The Pickerington Food Pantry has shared that dry breakfast items are one of their highest-need items each week. We’d love your help filling their shelves and supporting families in our community.

Some great items to donate include:

• 🥣 Cereal
• 🥄 Oatmeal
• 🍫 Granola bars
• 🍓 Breakfast bars
• And other non-perishable, dry breakfast foods

Our elementary schools have decided to make a friendly competition and see which school can collect the most donations and be crowned the BEST in Pickerington! 🏆

Bring in the breakfast items, rally your classmates, and let’s show the other elementaries what we can do! Most importantly, every donation makes a difference and helps support families right here in our community.

On October 16th, we encourage everyone to wear a shirt or jersey representing their favorite sports team. Whether they’re a Tiger, Panther, Buckeye, or simply proud supporters of the Pickerington community. Let’s come together to celebrate National Sports Day with pride and unity!

Every Student and Staff member who participates will receive a special Stay in the Game! sticker to wear or decorate their favorite electronic device.

National Sports Day is a time for students, families, fans, and athletes to come together and celebrate the sports they love. It is more than just honoring athletic events — it is about recognizing the valuable lessons and lifelong benefits that come from healthy competition.

Let’s make it a day full of school spirit, team pride, and positive energy!

Ms. Rizek will be going into each classroom to talk about perseverance!

As students continue to learn and practice responsibility. Here are some book ideas to read with your student!

There’s so much that makes SCE special—and our staff are a big part of it!

Each week, we’ll be shining the spotlight on members of our SCE team so families can get to know the wonderful people who support our students every day. Take a look and learn a little more about the faces behind the smiles!
