SMS Weekend Update
November 6, 2026
Legacy: "A society grows great when old men plant trees whose shade they know they shall never sit in."
This Veterans Day, we recognize and honor the men and women who have served our country. Their courage, commitment, and sacrifices have helped create opportunities and freedoms that generations of Americans continue to enjoy. Their service is a powerful example of Legacy. They invested in something greater than themselves, often without knowing who would ultimately benefit from their sacrifices. As we reflect on their service, we are reminded that each of us has an opportunity to plant trees for future generations through our actions, our service, our relationships, and the example we set for others.
