The winter wellness fair was a huge success! Together we raised $1,803 to benefit the CES winter wellness program which pays for our students to ski and snowboard at Smugglers Notch for five days in a row. It also includes the cost of lessons with certified instructors which makes all the difference in accelerating their progress! Many thanks to the countless individuals who worked hard behind the scenes to make this all happen and to the many students, parents, and community members who attended. It takes a village!
Our community service project at the North Country Animal League (NCAL) began this week. Almost the entire sixth grade class has signed up to volunteer this year! This week, I was accompanied by Hudson Mix, Braylin Lehouillier, and Max Cota. During the hour and a half that we were there, these hard workers folded laundry, scrubbed and rinsed pet crates, and cleaned the meet and greet room. They were also able to play with some very cute black kittens who are waiting patiently for their furever homes. Great job everyone!
Reminder!
At Lamoille North, student safety and well-being are our top priorities. To protect your child in an emergency, support their health needs, and ensure smooth communication throughout the year, we rely on parents and caregivers to complete our Annual Update Forms.
These forms are not a ‘re-do’ of the online registration process; they are a chance for you to review and update the information we already have for your student(s).
These forms provide our schools with critical, up-to-date information, including:
-Emergency contacts
-Medical needs and allergies
-Transportation details
-Permissions related to technology and school activities
When families take the time to complete these forms, they directly strengthen our ability to respond quickly in an emergency, provide the proper health supports, and keep every child safe, supported, and connected.
HOW TO COMPLETE THE ANNUAL NOTIFICATIONS:
-Log in to your Infinite Campus Parent Portal Account. (https://bit.ly/429Lz2e)
-In the left menu, select More, then Online Registration Update, and click Start next to Annual Update Forms.
-BE SURE TO CLICK SUBMIT WHEN YOU COMPLETE THE FORM.
-If you don’t have a portal account, email IC-support@lnsd.org.
-Paper copies are also available by contacting your student’s school front office.
Completing these forms is not just paperwork—it’s one of the most important ways parents and caregivers can partner with Lamoille North Supervisory Union to ensure student health, safety, and success.
Learning in Action📷
the Green Mountain Championship Professional Disc Golf Pro Tour will be taking place September 18–21 at the Smugglers’ Notch Disc Golf Center (1237 Edwards Rd, Jeffersonville).
As part of this event, all Lamoille North students are invited to attend with a free spectator pass that grants access to the entire tournament. Spectating hours are from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM each day.
This is a wonderful opportunity for students to:
Experience a professional sporting event right here in our community
Spend time outdoors in a healthy, family-friendly environment
Learn more about disc golf as a fun and accessible lifelong activity
