Shining Brighter, Growing Stronger!
Dear Main Street Families,
We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of our Main Street families and scholars for showing up and shining every day this week during the PSSAs! We are incredibly proud of the amazing attendance on testing days and the dedication our scholars demonstrated throughout the week.
Our students took their time, worked hard, stayed focused, and gave their very best effort each day. Their perseverance and positive attitude truly reflected the strength of our Main Street community.
We are so excited to celebrate our scholars and all of the hard work they have shown. Thank you, families, for your continued support in helping our students succeed—we could not do it without you!
Looking ahead to next week, students in grades 3–5 will take the Math PSSA on Monday and Tuesday. In addition, 5th grade students will take the Science PSSA on Wednesday and Thursday. Please continue to support your child by ensuring they arrive to school on time, well-rested, and ready to do their best each day. Together, we can help our scholars finish strong!
🌸 Spring Summit Reminder
Tomorrow is our Spring Summit at STEM Academy from 9:00 AM–2:00 PM. We look forward to a day of learning, engagement, and community connection for our families and scholars.
Please see the flyers below for more information. We hope to see you there!
🎉 5th Grade Families
Permission slips for the 5th Grade Dance on May 29th from 6-9 have been distributed. Completed permission slips and payments are due by May 15th. Please note that all payments must be made in cash. We look forward to celebrating our amazing 5th grade scholars!
📊 Attendance Matters – Let’s Finish Strong!
This week, our schoolwide attendance decreased to 63%, which is below where we want to be. Daily attendance is critical to your child’s academic success—every day of learning truly matters, especially as we approach the end of the school year and prepare for important assessments like the PSSA.
Our goal is to reach 90% Average Daily Attendance (ADA), and we need your partnership to get there. Please make every effort to ensure your child is at school on time, every day, unless they are sick.
Let’s work together to build strong habits and finish the school year strong!
