Explorer Informer
November 2, 2026
Dear Explorer Families,
I hope you and your families had a wonderful Halloween weekend and didn't let the rain get in the way of the fun! Last Friday's Halloween Parade was such a joy. It was wonderful to see so many families cheering on our Explorers and staff. We miss having our parents on campus and look forward to more opportunities to come together as a community.
I know the recent news that our stay at Stone Ranch will extend through the remainder of the school year was disappointing. This relocation has not been easy for our students, families, or staff, and I truly appreciate your continued patience, kindness, and commitment to our school. While there have certainly been challenges, there have also been wonderful opportunities for our two school communities to learn from one another, collaborate, and build new connections.
Now that we know we will be at Stone Ranch for the remainder of the year, my focus is on continuing to strengthen our Del Sur community, regardless of where we call home. We will bring back the traditions we love, create new memories, and find meaningful opportunities to come together. We will get through this together, and I look forward to welcoming everyone back to a beautiful, refreshed Del Sur campus next school year.
We have a fun-filled week ahead, and I hope you can join us for some of the activities!
This Week at Del Sur:
November 3–6 | Scholastic Book Fair: Located in the MPR. Families are welcome to shop before and after school throughout the week.
November 6 | Friday Flag: Join us at 8:45 a.m. in the Quad. Parents are invited!
November 6 | Fall Festival: Hosted by our Del Sur Foundation from 4:00–6:00 p.m. at Stone Ranch. We hope to see you there!
Thank you for continued support and commitment to our Del Sur community. Your partnership means more than you know. No matter where we are physically, we are still One Team, One Compass!
Have a wonderful week!
Warmly,
Mrs. Ganesan
Proud Principal, Del Sur Elementary School
