Dear Lindbergh Families,
It has been a great start to the new school year! Students were excited to meet their teachers and make new friends. At Lindbergh, we pride ourselves on intentionally building relationships and community. We know that students learn more when they feel connected and valued at school. Our goal this year is to increase students' sense of belonging. We will do this by learning every students’ name, greeting students daily, and fostering student leadership opportunities on campus. In addition, we will connect with students through clubs, sports, our Wellness Center, and monthly events.
As a community school, we will collaborate and partner with families and community organizations to best support our students. We look forward to making the 2026-27 school year our best year yet!

Estimadas familias de Lindbergh,
¡Hemos tenido un gran comienzo para el nuevo año escolar! Los estudiantes estaban emocionados de conocer a sus maestros/as y hacer nuevos amigos/as. En Lindbergh, nos enorgullecemos de construir intencionalmente relaciones y comunidad. Sabemos que los estudiantes aprenden más cuando se sienten conectados y valorados en la escuela. Nuestro objetivo este año es aumentar el sentido de pertenencia de los estudiantes. Haremos esto aprendiendo el nombre de cada estudiante, saludando a los estudiantes diariamente y fomentando las oportunidades de liderazgo estudiantil en la escuela. Además, nos conectaremos con los estudiantes a través de clubes, deportes, nuestro Centro de Bienestar y eventos mensuales.
Como escuela comunitaria, colaboraremos y nos asociaremos con las familias y las organizaciones comunitarias para apoyar mejor a nuestros estudiantes. ¡Esperamos hacer del año escolar 2026-27 nuestro mejor año hasta ahora!

Hello Lindbergh Families!
My name is Mrs. Sanchez and I am the School Counselor. This is my second year at Lindbergh and I am happy to continue to serve our wonderful school community. I am here to support your child’s social emotional well-being, help them reach their academic goals and help them prepare for high school, college, career and beyond.
To support your child’s social emotional well-being, did you know we have many different counseling and therapy resources on campus that your child can access? At Lindbergh, we value mental health and understand the impact it can have on student learning. Students can receive support with coping skills, self-regulation, social skills, friend making, and so much more. If you are interested in having your child access a mental health resource, please reach out to me.

Mi nombre es Sra. Sánchez y soy la Consejera Escolar. Este es mi segundo año en Lindbergh y estoy feliz de continuar sirviendo a nuestra maravillosa comunidad escolar. Estoy aquí para apoyar el bienestar socioemocional de su hijos/as, ayudarlos a alcanzar sus metas académicas y ayudarlos a prepararse para la escuela secundaria, la universidad, la carrera y más allá.
Para apoyar el bienestar socioemocional de sus hijos/as, ¿sabía que tenemos muchos recursos diferentes de asesoramiento y terapia en la escuela a los que su hijos/as pueden acceder? En Lindbergh, valoramos la salud mental y entendemos el impacto que puede tener en el aprendizaje de los estudiantes. Los estudiantes pueden recibir apoyo con habilidades de afrontamiento, autorregulación, habilidades sociales, hacer amigos y mucho más. Si está interesado en que su hijo/a tenga acceso a un recurso de salud mental, comuníquese conmigo.

Dear Parents:
Welcome to a new school year! I am thrilled to have the opportunity to serve you and your families this year. My name is Dr. Sandra Velasco. My role here at Lindbergh is to provide support to you and the community at large. Throughout the year, you will receive invitations from me for family events, PTO updates, parent meetings, and family workshops. Please join our various committees, stop by to say hello, participate in the family activities we have planned, and do not hesitate to call or visit me if you need help with anything. I am also teaching 8th-grade math this year, so I am splitting my time; however, my availability has not changed! I am here to support you and your family! Let’s make this the best year yet!

¡Bienvenidos a un nuevo año escolar! Me entusiasma mucho tener la oportunidad de servirles a ustedes y a sus familias este año. Mi nombre es Dra. Sandra Velasco. Mi función aquí en Lindbergh es brindarles apoyo a ustedes y a la comunidad en general. A lo largo del año, recibirán de mi parte invitaciones a eventos familiares, actualizaciones de la asociación de padres y maestros (PTO), reuniones para padres y talleres familiares. Únanse a nuestros diversos comités, pasen a saludar, participen en las actividades familiares que hemos planeado y no duden en llamarme o visitarme si necesitan ayuda con cualquier cosa. Este año también imparto clases de matemáticas de octavo grado, por lo que divido mi tiempo; sin embargo, ¡mi disponibilidad no ha cambiado! ¡Estoy aquí para apoyarles a ustedes y a su familia! ¡Hagamos que este sea el mejor año de todos!

Family and Community Center - The purpose of our Community and Family Center is to provide families with a dedicated space to gather for social and educational purposes. It is also a place where families can access school and community resources.
Centro Familiar y Comunitario - El propósito de nuestro Centro Familiar y Comunitario es proporcionar a las familias un espacio dedicado para reunirse con fines sociales y educativos. También es un lugar donde las familias pueden acceder a recursos escolares y comunitarios.
Wellness Center - The goal of the Lindbergh Wellness Center is to provide a safe, welcoming space for students and families to learn and practice coping skills, receive resources, and feel connected to themselves and their Lindbergh community.
