Something to Consider Something to Consider

Children have this amazing way of becoming exactly who we tell them they are. If we tell them they are strong, they become strong. If we tell them they are kind, they become kind. If we tell them they are capable, they become capable. Speak life into your kids, so they will have what it takes to tackle their own life one day. Amy Weatherly

When the School Calls about Behavior: Understanding FBAs and BIPs

When a child with disabilities is having a behavior problem that interferes with their learning or the learning of others, the team must consider the use of positive behavior interventions and supports to address the behavior. Sally Baker of Family Connection of SC will share best practices for addressing problem behavior at school.

Join us on Thursday, February 29th at 6 pm virtually, to learn about the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and how it pertains to functional behavior assessment and behavior intervention plans.
