Back to School 26-27
Welcome Back!
Dear Parma City School District Families,
Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year! Whether you're returning for another great year or joining the Parma City School District for the first time, we're excited to welcome you. Our staff has been working throughout the summer to prepare for another successful school year, and we look forward to seeing our students on the first day of school.
Back to School Information Hub
As you prepare for the start of the year, we've created a Back to School Information Hub to serve as your one-stop resource for everything you need before the first day. The hub includes important districtwide information, along with school-specific details for every building.
On the Back-to-School Information Hub, you'll find:
School-specific information, important dates, and open house events
School supply lists
Transportation updates and information
Meal information and menus
Before and after school care information
And much more!
Home Access Center Transitions to My Power Hub
One important change for this school year is that Parma City School District is transitioning from eSchool to PowerSchool, our new student information system. As part of this transition, Home Access Center (HAC) is being replaced by My Power Hub, our new family portal for accessing student information.
Once available, My Power Hub will provide convenient access to information specific to your student, including your student's schedule, attendance, grades, transportation information, meal account information, and other important school resources. More information will be shared with families soon regarding login information to My Power Hub.
Until My Power Hub becomes available, please review the following to obtain your student's specific information:
- Transportation: Updated bus stop and route information will be available on the Stopfinder app during the week of August 17. Returning users will automatically receive their updates in the app. New users will receive an email invitation during the week of August 17 to create their account. As the Transportation Department continues finalizing routes, transportation information is subject to change and will be updated in the Stopfinder app. Visit the Transportation section of the Back to School Hub for more information.
- Class Schedules (Middle and High): Printed schedules can be picked up during Open House, Orientation, Locker Day, or on the first day of school. When families receive login information, they will be able to access this information in My Power Hub.
- Class Lists (Elementary): Class lists with teacher information will be posted on the front door of each elementary school at 5 pm on Friday, August 21. Please note that only student first names and the initial of the last name are included on rosters.
- Student IDs: Returning students will continue to use their existing student ID number for breakfast and lunch. New students' ID numbers will appear on their printed class schedule (Middle and High School) or will be provided to them on their first day of school. Additionally, when My Power Hub becomes available, it will also appear there.
Until My Power Hub login information is available, we encourage all families to use the Back-to-School Information Hub as your primary source for preparing for the new school year. As additional information becomes available, the hub will continue to be updated with the latest details.
We encourage you to bookmark the page and check back often throughout August:

Back to School CommUNITY Fair
Before the school year begins, we also invite you to join us for our Back-to-School CommUNITY Fair on Friday, August 14, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Byers Field. This free community event is a great opportunity to connect with our schools and community partners, meet district staff, explore local organizations and vendors, and enjoy family-friendly activities as you prepare for the new school year. Sensory-friendly time will be available from 6:30-7:00 p.m., followed by a Movie Night beginning at 7:30 p.m. We hope you'll join us for an evening of fun, connection, and celebration before the first day of school!
Thank you for your partnership and for being an important part of the Parma City School District community. We are looking forward to a wonderful year of learning, growth, and success for every student!
Sincerely,
