KMS NEWSLETTER

We hope you and your family had a wonderful and restful holiday break. As we return to school, we want to share an important reminder that there are only 9 school days remaining in the semester.
Please take a few minutes to talk with your student about any late or unfinished assignments. This is a critical window for students to turn in missing work and earn any remaining credit they can before the semester ends. Encouragement and support at home can make a big difference during these final days.
We are also excited to kick off a new season, with KMS wrestling and volleyball starting this week. As students begin practices and competitions, we want to offer a friendly reminder about the importance of the student part of student-athletics. Grades, attendance, and behavior all play a role in eligibility for sports and activities, and staying on track academically and behaviorally helps ensure students can fully participate in the activities they enjoy.
Thank you for partnering with us to help students finish the semester strong and start the season off right.

LIBRARY RECESS WITH MS. BENDER
The library got a festive upgrade before winter break. Students enjoyed a cozy Christmas party with snacks, games, and lots of laughter, and we are excited to show off the library’s new bean bag chairs. These comfy new seats have already become a favorite spot for reading, relaxing, and hanging out with friends. Special thanks to Ms. Bender and everyone who helped make the library an even more welcoming place for students.
