Dear Smith Stallions,

We hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. The next couple of weeks are going to be very busy as we finish strong before Christmas Break. Teachers will be working hard to gather data as the end of the 2nd quarter nears. It is important that your child is at school every day unless he or she is sick.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS:

10 DAYS OF FUN: Don’t forget “10 Days of Fun” starts tomorrow. Please see the calendar below for a description for each day. We will also have daily drawings for our students with lots of fun prizes to choose from. Your child must be present to win.
ATTENDANCE: With two weeks before Christmas Break, it is important that we finish strong. Each day we are celebrating the classrooms that have perfect attendance and everyone on time. Just a reminder: Our day begins at 7:45 each morning.
$1.00 BOOK FAIR: We will be having a $1.00 Book Fair Wednesday, December 8th-Friday, December 10th. The Book Fair will take place in the library from 8:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Cash or Check will be accepted. Please see the flyer below.
CLASS PARTIES: Class Christmas Parties will be Thursday, December 16, 2021 at 1:45 p.m. - 2:45 p.m. We are limiting the number of parents that come to help with the party to two (2) total. Thank you for understanding as we transition back to normal school operations. If you are interested in helping with the party, please contact your child’s teacher. We will also be having a Valentine’s Day party on Friday, February 11, 2022.
CHRISTMAS BREAK Monday, December 20, 2021 - Monday, January 3, 2022. Students return on school on Tuesday, January 4, 2022.

'TIS THE SEASON TO WIN: In the coming weeks before Christmas break, we will be giving out fun prizes to teachers and staff! We would like to bless teachers and staff with fun items such as small gift cards (Ex. $5.00 gift cards to Sonic, 7Brew, Starbucks), candy, or holiday-themed items. If you would like to donate an item to support this fun time before break, please send it to school with your child. Be sure to write who it is from so that we can thank you! THANK YOU SO MUCH TO THOSE WHO HAVE ALREADY DONATED ITEMS! OUR TEACHERS ARE GOING TO FEEL SO BLESSED WHEN THEY HEAR THEIR NAME CALLED AS A WINNER!
