Message from Principal Higgins

Dear Academy Families & Friends,

First and foremost, happy Mother's Day to all those special women in our lives. Thank you for all you do and being our first teachers!

May marches on. Please make sure to see the important dates tab below. So many events are coming up soon!

  • MCAS: Grade 4 starts Math MCAS on Wednesday & Thursday! Grade 3 will go next week.
  • No School on Tuesday, May 10th due to professional development.
  • The International Resource Night is on Thursday, May 12 at 6PM
  • The Incoming Kindergarten Story night is also on Thursday, May 12, at 7PM virtually.
  • Lip Sync was a wonderful night this past Friday. Thank you to all of the students who performed as well as those that came to cheer on their friends.
  • Walking School Bus will be on Wednesday, May 11 at 8:30AM. Please join us at Legion, Essex, or the Mason Hall stations (umbrellas may be needed). It looks like 73 and sunny, so let's see if we can get the whole school on the move!
  • Speaking of sunny-with the improving weather, sunblock hats, sitting towels are all smart considerations for your youngsters. Like last year, we'll be going out frequently and looking to host some of our assemblies outside over the next two months.

Have a wonderful day!!!!

Mr. Higgins
