OMS Bulldog Bulletin

I hope everyone had a wonderful and relaxing spring break. It has been a joy to welcome our students back, refreshed and ready for the exciting weeks ahead.

I would also like to take a moment to celebrate our incredible second graders. Their recent showcase was truly amazing, and we could not be more proud of their hard work, creativity, and confidence. A heartfelt thank you goes to Ms. Swinchoski for organizing such a meaningful event and creating wonderful memories for our students and their families.

We are now looking forward to another special occasion—our First Grade VIP Teas, which will take place next week. We are excited to welcome our first grade special guests into the building to share in this memorable experience with our students.

Thank you, as always, for your continued support.

As you are aware, Dr. Handerhan announced back in the fall that she will be retiring at the end of this school year. Since then, the Wall Township Board of Education has been actively engaged in the search for a new Superintendent of Schools. At last night’s Board of Education Meeting, the Board of Education appointed Dr. David Bleakley as the next WTPS Superintendent of Schools, effective July 1, 2026. Dr. Bleakley brings with him over 20 years of educational experience, and the Board of Education is thrilled to welcome him to the District.
