Academy Announcements
Dear Academy Families and Friends,
It is so much fun to be an elementary kiddo (& principal) in June... it feels like every day is a different event or celebration. Field Day, Spring Concerts (feeling the Camper Vibe) seeing the Seniors in their caps and gowns...it's just so awesome!
- Our K-2 Spring Concert was amazing! Congratulations to the kids, teachers and Mr. Brennan... rumor has it we hold the "Mary Mack" record for Weymouth!
- The Seniors looked great! Cannot believe the stories and adventures they shared since they were the big kids on campus! (Back then, that would have been 4th graders). We are so proud of the graduates and wish them the very best of things to come!
- Thank you to all of our field day volunteers. Mr. Murphy hit a homerun with all the games! The students had a blast! It was the perfect day for some fun outdoors.
- Monday is Fire Safety Day for students in grades K-3. Students will partner with our friends from the Weymouth Fire Department to focus on fire safety.
- Tuesday, June 10th is a half day of school for staff development with dismissal at 11:50AM.
5th Grade Events
- 5th Grade Fun Day is on the baseball field just after the half day lets out. Thank you for all of the volunteers that have helped to make this happen.
- We are looking for more 4th grade parents to help with the Grade Promotion Ceremony on June 17th. Please click here to sign up.
- The 5th Grade Band Concert is on June 12, 2025 at Chapman Middle School. Doors open at 6:30PM, the show starts at 7PM-Academy performers wear Purple!
- 5th Grade Speeches are due for students interested in speaking at the Promotion Ceremony on June 17th by Wednesday, June 11th.
Thank you for all your support!
Mr. Higgins

Playground Expectations
As the weather continues to improve, we are so excited to see our families using the playground after school. Consistency is so important for our students that we find it important to share with you our playground expectations that we provide to the students during the school day.
We hope this carries over to after school and beyond:
Everyone plays – Every game is open to whoever wants to play as long as those playing are being safe, respectful and responsible during the game. Including others are expected behaviors.
Play safe – Students must play so that they and others are not physically or emotionally hurt. Students must avoid rough play, unsafe play, and name-calling. Examples of unsafe play include jumping from the top of the play structure or sliding into someone still on or near the end of the slide
Be Respectful- Students will listen and follow directions. They will be kind and provide other students an opportunity to use the play structure. Keep hands and feet to themselves.
As always, please stay off the island in the driveway as buses and cars may be in use around the driveway circle. Thank you!
