Park Information (Food, Money, etc)
- No cash is accepted in the park, but there are kiosks to put cash on a Visa card. Any Visa, Mastercard, etc, is accepted in the parks.
- Outside food and drink are not allowed.
- We will head out around 6:30 AM and will likely be back around 8:00 PM
- Please wear your WMS Music shirt (we'll hand these out soon!) and comfortable bottoms/shoes.
- Check the weather! :) My favorite weather source
- Students will need to travel either with an adult chaperone or in groups of 4+. Leave no person behind! If seen without a group of four you'll be stuck sitting with a teacher in Time Out for a period of time.
Communication in the Park
Remind 101
If you are bringing a cell phone you should join our Remind 101 group. This is a text message system that hides all user information other than name. It's how we'll communicate throughout the day (don't forget to be here at this time, meet us at the front gates, we'll be home around this time, etc), since Six Flags for sure isn't going to let me on their loudspeaker system. Caregivers are welcome to join this group if they desire; we will also provide updates in regarding when we leave and our ETA home.
Students and chaperones bringing a cell phone should join this group.
Two ways to join our Remind Group
- Text the code @mbyha to the number 81010 OR
- Click this link: https://www.remind.com/join/mbyha
t-shirts to be handed out week of the trip!
Congratulations to 7th-grader Roslyn for winning the t-shirt design contest! T-shirts will feature Roslyn's design on the back with a small logo on the front. All students will be receiving the shirt and should wear it on the trip. Students can wear school-appropriate bottoms and shoes for the trip.
Chaperones
Chaperones will be responsible for a group of 5 - 10 students. You'll receive your group of students upon arrival on Friday.
You are welcome to walk with your chaperone group or just set up check in times with them throughout the day to make sure everyone is in good shape. Your group can split up, so long as kids without an adult are in groups of 4+.
Teacher chaperones are Culley Byham, Max Thew, Michael Frontz, Anthony Spano, Rick Saunders, Spencer Klein, Lauren Girouard, and Rachel Burtman.
