Two Weeks to Go!
Aloha Damien ʻOhana,
We are entering the final two weeks of the quarter! This is a great time for students to stay focused, check their grades, complete any missing work, and finish the quarter strong.
We encourage parents and guardians to take a few minutes to check in with your student about their progress and upcoming assignments. A little encouragement and support at home can make a big difference as we head into the final stretch.
Mahalo for partnering with us and for encouraging our Monarchs to finish strong! 💜
May God continue to bless our students, families, faculty, and staff as we close out the quarter.
Live Jesus in Our Hearts...Forever!

Mahalo to Our Grandparents!
Damien students celebrated our kūpuna (grandparents) on Wednesday for Grandparents' Day! 101 special guests joined their grandchildren for coffee, breakfast and our monthly liturgy. Grandparents enjoyed getting to know other grandparents, writing notes to their grandkids, and taking pictures as ʻohana! Father Eric Castro was the celebrant who shared with us about wisdom and discernment. Grandparents certainly shared a positive energy with all of us! Thank you to all of the grandparents who came this year!!

- Mauka section: Work is scheduled for September 24–30.
Two-way vehicle traffic will be maintained on Bernice Street throughout the work. For public safety, sidewalks adjacent to the active work area will be temporarily closed; however, one sidewalk on the street will remain open at all times to maintain pedestrian access.
Club Rushin'
Club Rush is a student government-sponsored event designed to give students an opportunity to discover and get involved in the many sanctioned student clubs and organizations at Damien Memorial.
Students learned what each club was about, met the students who lead them, and find opportunities to connect with others who share your interests, passions, and talents. Whether you’re interested in service, faith, academics, athletics, the arts, culture, leadership, or just want to try something new, there’s a place for you.
Club Rush is more than just signing up for a club—it’s about finding your people, building community, and making your experience at Damien your own.
