A Message from Dr. Kincheloe
Welcome back!
Each year there is an excitement that accompanies the first day of school. Students who were in middle school only a few months ago are about to become high school freshmen. Last year’s fledgling freshman will become experienced sophomores. Last year's sophomores will become upperclassman. Last year's juniors are about to become seniors and will know that their high school days will conclude in a few months that will seem to fly by. Our staff will also reflect on a collection of new faces as well as the return of many fine, experienced teachers. Our building will take on a new and exciting look. Last year's completion of our theater and stage area will take on full occupancy. Our new gym and weight room should be ready for the opening day of school. Increased parking and reopened the driveways will be welcomed with smiles and relief.
The next few weeks will be filled with activity in the school. New teachers will come next week to begin their new adventure at Park Hill High School. Registration begins on the 6th. Students will be picking up their new schedules and smiling for their ID pictures. Our freshmen will be here on the 7th to begin their orientation process with some fun and team building. Then returning teachers will come into the building and start setting up their classrooms in preparation for the big opening day. Athletes are already doing preseason workouts and frequent our hallways and fields. All preparations are pointing toward that first day of school, August 18.
This newsletter is filled with information that will make you and your student have a more prepared start. Please familiarize yourself with the information available herein. Knowing what to expect and when to expect it will alleviate much of the curiosity and anxiety that accompanies the start of a school year.
I am looking forward to having the students and staff all back in the building. Schools seem empty in those summer months when the rooms are dark, and the hallways are vacant and quiet. The energy of youngsters learning, interacting with one another, playing sports, making new friends, and so much more is the lifeblood of our school. Being here to help facilitate those activities is a privilege and an honor. Our students, parents, and staff are what our school special. I do, indeed, have the best job in Platte County.
Thank you,
Brad

Online verification should be completed prior to registration.
- Only a legal guardian living at the student's primary address can complete the verification for that student.
- You will need to log into your Infinite Campus Parent Portal account of the Campus Parent app.
- You do not have to complete the verification process at one time. As you complete each section, you can save the application. Just sign back into the portal or app and click the link to pick up right where you left off.

Outside Food Being Brought Into the School
Outside Food/Drink Being Brought Into the School
The PHHS policy for food/drinks being brought in from outside the school is as follows.
- If a student forgets their lunch from home and a guardian brings in a lunch from home, the guardian may drop off the lunch at the table inside the front doors and then E-MAIL their student to pick up their lunch on the way to the lunchroom. The student will eat the lunch during their regular scheduled lunch time.
- If a student is brought fast food/drink from an outside business their food/drink may be left at the front security window and the guardian can E-MAIL their student to let them know lunch/drink has been delivered. The student must eat the outside lunch/drink during their regular scheduled lunch time on the bench in the entrance foyer area. Fast food/drinks in classrooms distracts from learning and fast food in the cafeteria are prejudicial to good order and disruptive.
- If a student is brought fast food/drink from an outside business and the guardian wishes to eat lunch with their student, the parent may check in at the front security desk and again E-MAIL their student that they have arrived with food and the student would then be able to eat the food during their regular scheduled lunch shift. The guardian and student will eat together on the bench in the entrance foyer area.
- Door Dash, Uber Eats, and similar deliveries are prohibited at PHHS. If a student orders food from one of these services, the food will be kept in the office and the student may pick it up at the end of the school day.

Privit - Participation Physical Exam Process
Fall athletic seasons begin on Monday, August 11th. To be able to practice on the first day, students must have updated required information on file
- All students participating in a MSHSAA activity must create a Privit account and complete the required forms. Click on the button below to create an account. Detailed instructions and help with account registration can be found here, as well.
- Coaches and school staff will no longer collect paper copies of physicals. Instead, parents/guardians must create a Privit account and upload a picture or file of page 5 of the MSHSAA physical form.
- Many students have a physical form on file that is valid for two years. If your student currently has a valid physical on file with the Park Hill School District, you must still create a Privit account and compete the required forms. You will have the option to indicate that your student has a valid physical on file; school staff will then verify and upload the physical we have on file.
- All Class of 2026 seniors must have immunizations up to date and on file with the school nurse.
If you have questions about Privit please contact your students coach.
