Hello Bulldog Families.

We are looking forward to welcoming all Batavia High School Students to what’s sure to be a rewarding 2025-2026 school year! Our custodial staff has been working hard this summer to get the building ready to go, and many of our teachers have already been in and out of their classrooms!

I wanted to take a few minutes to remind you of the email that you received from Mr. Millard that addresses cell phones at Batavia High School. As a reminder, students will not be permitted to have cell phones out during the entire school day, which is from 7:05 a.m. -2:15 p.m. Please note the “BHS Cell Phone Expectations” graphic that is included in this newsletter. Thank you for your support as we implement this new policy that is mandated by law.

Also, when you receive this weekly newsletter, you may want to pay particular attention to the “Upcoming Important Dates” section. This is where we try to help keep you informed about everything that’s happening at BHS.

We are looking forward to connecting with you and your students on Tuesday, August 12th from 3:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. for our high school Open House. Students will be able to pick up their schedules, walk the building and meet their teachers!

We hope you have a fantastic weekend!

In service to our Bulldogs.

Hi, Bulldog Families.

Welcome back to another start to the school year! I’m looking forward to serving our Bulldogs for my 6th year! When I started at Batavia Middle School, our current seniors were in 7th grade. That truly feels like it was yesterday. I can’t wait to get another year started and watch our students reach their goals and celebrate their accomplishments!

Hello families, and welcome back students!

I’m excited to start the year as the Dean of Students for the high school. I look forward to supporting our families and students in my new role throughout the year. Students, I hope you’ve had a great summer, and I look forward to seeing everyone during open house or on the first day of school.

Joe Moorehead, Dean of Students

Please Take Note of the Following: Please Take Note of the Following:

  • 2025-2026 District Calendar
  • All high school drop offs are to enter from Old SR 32 and stay on the main route, Bulldog Place. Pull through the cross walk and up to the designated pole to drop off students. Students will not be permitted to enter the building until 7:05 a.m. If families are dropping off both a high school and middle school student, you may drop off both students in front of the high school and the middle school students will be safely crossed by a staff member. Afternoon pick ups may park in the parking lot between the high school crosswalk and the board office at 4 Bulldog. Families will be able to exit the lot near the board office and turn right onto the main Bulldog Place main route.
