FLAG FOOTBALL 🏈
Woodcreek’s girls varsity flag football team faced Ponderosa on Monday, October 5, in a tough league matchup. Despite the setback, Woodcreek will look to bounce back in their home matchup against Rio Americano on Wednesday, where they’ll have an opportunity to regroup and compete in front of their home crowd.

Q2: What are you most proud of from this season?
Coach Bergemann: "I'm most proud of the way our athletes have competed in tough games, regardless of whether we were winning or losing."
Q3: What are you looking for going into the playoffs?
Coach Bergemann: "I'm looking forward to continuing to improve, reaping the rewards of hard work, and beating teams we've previously lost to."
Q4: What have been the biggest strengths of the teams this season?
Coach Bergemann: "The biggest strength of the girls has been their athleticism, the biggest strength of the boys has been their ability to make big plays when it really counts."
Q5: How has the team's leadership and chemistry contributed to their success?
Coach Bergemann: "Chemistry and leadership are essential to success, and lack thereof inevitably leads to lack of success. Our record suggests we've had some valuable chemistry and leadership thus far, but could use even more going forward."
