We love to see our Bridges Bears each and Every Day! Attendance is Essential! We love to see our Bridges Bears each and Every Day! Attendance is Essential!

  • “Reading is essential for those who seek to rise above the ordinary.” — Jim Rohn.

Snow is falling and temps have dropped! Our Bridges students and staff still make outside time and essential part of the day unless the wind-chill and temperatures warrant us to stay indoors!

Outdoor play is important because:

  • Improves well-being and resilience
  • Improves physical and mental health
  • Provides children with the opportunity to develop a life-long appreciation of the natural world
  • Has a positive impact on educational attainment
  • Gives children the chance to explore the natural environment and have adventures

Please continue to send layers of clothing over the winter months so your child is prepared! If you may need any assistance with winter clothing, please reach out to your child's classroom teacher.

***Mrs. Zarn has all the items she needs for STEM! Thank you!

On Monday, January 22nd, we will be having our Achievement and Integration Literacy event at The Blue Earth County Library from 5:00-6:30. There will be many stations and Domino's Pizza for dinner. We have about 200 students/families enrolled for this great event. It is an open house format so you can stay for the whole time or for a part of the evening! Here is the link to get started on your very own library card: Click here

January and winter are times we discuss building each other up. How can you spread Kindness and fill someone's bucket? How can you add on to a snow creation and make it better? How can you continue to be your best?

Families -

On Friday, January 26th, many of our 4th and 5th graders will be competing in our Bridges Spelling Bee. One will be moving on to the Regional spelling bee. Our 3rd graders will be able to watch the spelling bee to learn from this incredible experience. If you are a parent of a participant in the spelling bee, you can join us in the Bridges auditorium starting at 12:30 pm! Thank you for encouraging and working with your child to try out something new and to boost language, spelling and confidence! This year, Mrs. Zarn, will be our pronouncer!
