Weekly Greeting
Dear Churchill Families,
Welcome to December! It’s hard to believe we have only three weeks of school left before Winter Break.
Please continue to encourage your student to finish strong by attending school daily and completing all work to the best of their ability.
With the colder weather, make sure your student is dressed appropriately. We will go outside for recess as long as the temperature, including the “real feel”, is above 25°F.
IAR reports for 4th and 5th-grade students were sent home on Friday, November 21st. If you did not receive your student’s report, please check with their homeroom teacher on Monday.
Please take a moment to read the information below.
Wishing you a wonderful week,
Mrs. Peacock

Our Bulldogs below used kind and respectful language to promote a positive and safe school environment throughout November. As a reward, they received a coupon for a free slice of cake from Portillo's. Way to go!

Infinite Campus App: Parent Portal
Did you know there is an app through Infinite Campus to access your student's attendance and more? The site also has information about notifications. Click the link below for more information on downloading the app.
Attendance Matters
Did you know that if a student misses 10% of school, (excused or unexcused) the State of Illinois considers it to be chronic absenteeism? That equates to about 2 days per month. Chronic Absenteeism negatively affects a student's academic performance. If your student is sick, please keep them home. Otherwise please continue to encourage your student to come to school every day. See the attendance charts below.
Early Pick-up Reminder
If you need to pick up your student before dismissal, please be prepared to show a photo ID. Thank you for partnering with us to keep all students safe!
Daily Transportation Changes
Parent Advisory Meeting (PAM)
Our next Parent Advisory Meeting is on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 from 9am -10am at Churchill School! To accommodate all parents, meetings will be held monthly, alternating between mornings and evenings.
Please take a moment to complete the form below and share your thoughts. We look forward to seeing you soon.
Thank you in advance,
Mrs. Peacock
