8th graders continued their lesson on primary and secondary resources this week in the library! 8th grade honors ladies rewrote Abigail Adams's famous letter to her husband John Adams from March 1776, adding their own teenage 21st Century flair to the letter! The gentlemen rewrote John's return letter to Abigail using today's teenage vernacular! We read a secondary resource biography on Abigail Adams as well: Leave It To Abigail: The Revolutionary Life of Abigail Adams by Barb Rosentock.

Your Llano Jackets earned a DOMINATING win vs TLCA, 30-0. This was a Team win as all players that stepped onto the field contributed to help earn the Victory. The Win brings your 7th A Team record to 5 & 2, with their final game on Thursday on the road with the Early Longhorns. GO JACKETS!!!

Congratulations to the 7th and 8th Grade A teams for ending the season as DISTRICT CHAMPIONS and to the 8th Grade B team for finishing UNDEFEATED!
