Brown Elementary Update

September 26, 2025
A note from the principal
Greetings Brown Families and Caregivers,
Happy Fall!
Brown students in grades 1-4 have been working hard completing our fall Renaissance screening assessments in reading and math. We use information from these assessments to identify overall strengths and areas for growth across classes and grade levels and to plan for small group interventions. Please expect to receive a report of your child's performance on these screeners before October 30th.
We continue to focus on teaching and reinforcing our PAWS core values of Practice Empathy, Act Respectfully, Work Hard and Solve problems together. Do you have a great example of how your child practices these values at home? Send me an email (jeven@natickps.org) and we will feature your example in an upcoming newsletter.
Thank you for all you do to support your children's success at Brown School.
In partnership,
Dr. Johanna Even
Principal
