RUSHVILLE CONSOLIDATED HIGH SCHOOL
WEEK 31
A short week this week. but seeing the eclipse was well worth it! We are not only working hard to wrap up a great school year we are working hard toward next year. We are always planning and always finding ways to get better at everything we do. The teachers are doing great things and always improving on their craft so we can give the best we can to the students at RCHS. Prom is Saturday and we encourage all students to be safe and make good decisions. This will be such a great weekend but the thing that makes it even better is IT'S ALMOST MONDAY!! Have a great weekend everyone!!
INDIANA COLLEGE CORE AT RCHS
SPEAKING AND LISTENING
Part 4! The next section of the ICC I would like to highlight is Speaking and Listening. Advanced Public Speaking is a course that satisfies this section of the ICC.
Mrs. Jennifer Teague will be teaching this course for the next school year. Advanced Public Speaking is a dual credit course through Indiana University. The curriculum requires students to explore and consider why we communicate in certain ways and how to utilize various rhetorical approaches to construct effective speeches for a variety of purposes. We study public speaking through a philosophical lens, preparing students for successful communication in college and throughout their careers.
RCHS VOCATIONAL PROGRAMS
RCHS Vocational Spotlight
Over the next few weeks, we will be featuring careers that our vocational students will be learning about in our new programs that start in the 2024-25 school year at RCHS. Today’s spotlight is on our Criminal Justice program and careers as a Paralegal and Legal Assistant. Please follow the link for information on all aspects of these careers.
