ELPAC Exam for English Learners
Students in English Language Development classes (ELD) will be testing for a chance to reclassify as English Proficient.
Test dates will be between March 19 - 21 in each student's ELD class and will be tested in Listening, Reading, Writing, and speaking in English. To prepare, students will be practicing in class. Our Saturday Boot Camp was a huge success with students practicing their skills and getting excited to do well! We know you can do it!
Our School Experience Survey is now available
Our annual School Experience is now available for families to complete. We ask that you agree or disagree with any of the questions. Parents may skip questions that they may not be able to answer. The middle choice of ''neither agree nor disagree" does not give us much information so please choose the agree or disagree option if possible, to give us a clear picture of your experience. Many families have already completed the survey and you only have to complete the survey once, even if you have more than one student in LAUSD. Students are asked to bring a screenshot of the completion message to their advisory teacher to let them know their parent or guardian has completed the survey. SES link
10 Week grades are due this week!
Now is a good time to see if your child is on track to finish the semester strongly. Students should be working towards having grades A, B, & C. Although a D is a passing grade, students could easily drop to an F. Students with an F (not passing/fail), need to complete missing assignments and let their teachers know when assignments have been submitted. Do something NOW to not fall further behind. There is still time to improve!
You can message your child's teachers directly through the parent portal! Your child can also reach out to teachers through your child's Schoology and student email.
