From the Principal's Desk.........

Dear WolfPack Family,

This has been a busy school year already! Thank you for your help with the 1st Annual WolfPack Fun Run, Halloween Trunk-or-Treat, classroom parties, and all the other events that help our school thrive and build a true sense of family and community.

November is a time to reflect on all of the wonderful blessings God has created for us. Growing up, November always brought a feeling of excitement and anticipation for both Thanksgiving and Christmas. My family would start making plans about who was hosting, what would be served, and which relatives would be coming that year. Looking back, I now understand that what truly made those moments special was the feeling of belonging, knowing I was deeply loved and surrounded by people who cared about me.

I hope that even if you are facing challenges in your life right now, you feel that same sense of belonging here. I believe our WolfPack Family offers comfort, connection, and support. Whether it’s carpooling to athletic events, cheering on students at games, volunteering at school events, or donating gently used uniforms, each one of us has something to offer our STWSTB community, and that is what makes our school great.

Many families have quietly stepped forward to help others facing food insecurity or other hardships this year; please know your kindness does not go unnoticed. If you know of a family who may be struggling during the upcoming holidays, we are here to help. You may contact us privately, and we will respectfully reach out to them with care and discretion. We all need support sometimes.

Thank you for helping to make our STWSTB not just a school, but a legacy of faith, family, community, and Catholic excellence.

Winter Weather Is Around the Corner!

Please make sure students are coming to school dressed for outdoor recess each day. As long as the weather permits, we will continue to go outside and get some fresh air, even as temperatures drop.

All Students from the Chicago and the Blue Island campuses will begin their day at Blue Island. Chicago campus students should arrive at the Blue Island campus no later than 8:00 AM.

Morning Care is available for all students at the Blue Island campus.

Student Success Conferences Sign Ups will kick off on November 1, 2025! This is a great opportunity to connect with teachers and discuss your child's progress. Please sign up as soon as possible to reserve your preferred time. If you have not signed up by November 14, a conference time will be assigned for you. Don’t miss out! Secure your slot today!

Scholastic Book Fair

Our Scholastic Book Fair is coming in November! It's a wonderful chance for students to discover new books and for our school to raise funds.

Log on to our homepage to create your ewallet for your student to purchase books and to preview the books! Please choose the campus your child attends, as these funds cannot be transferred!

Scholastic Book Fair Volunteers

Volunteers are needed for the following:

Set up: November 14 from 2-4 pm

Take down: December 1, during the school day

All volunteers must be fully VIRTUS compliant. Please contact Ms. Martinez at jmartinez@stwstb.org if you would like to volunteer.

🍰🍰Birthday Reminder🍰🍰

Only non-food items will be permitted for student birthday celebrations.

Here are some examples: pencils, pens, fun erasers, stickers, bookmarks, small toys, party hats, paper crowns, activity or coloring books or craft supplies.

PLEASE do not send any food items. Food items will remain in the Main Office until the end of day for pick up.

DECEMBER BOONLI ORDER

To order for December, log in to fspro.boonli.com between November 1–15.

Parents/Guardians must create an account with FSP Boonli to order lunch. The first-time registration password is SB215. You do not need a credit card, as lunch is free. If you do not place an order, your child will need to bring a lunch from home.

If you need help creating an account, please reach out. There will be no extra lunches available.

Football Mania

Thank you to all our families who helped make our fundraiser a success, raising $14,400 for the school. For families who did not meet the first required goal of $200, your balance will be added to FACTS accounts.

* Week 1 winners will be calculated on Tuesday, November 4th,

after the Monday Night Football game.

* Prize money will be paid out ONLY for game cards activated by the school.
