We Are Pearsall Intermediate
First Six Weeks
Dear Intermediate School Families,
We are halfway through the first six weeks! It has been wonderful to see our students settling into routines, making friends, and growing both academically and socially. Thank you for your continued support as we work together to create the best learning environment for our students.
As we continue through the six weeks, we would like to share a few important reminders.
- Campus Doors: Campus doors open at 7:30am for students. We do not have any personnel on duty before 7:30am.
- Backpacks: All backpacks are checked as students enter the building. Please help us make backpack checks run quickly by keeping any items that are not required for school at home. This includes items hanging from zippers as it makes opening and closing zippers more difficult. We also recommend students wear tennis shoes on PE days instead of bringing them in their backpacks.
- Attendance matters: Our goal is to achieve at least 96% attendance daily. Students with perfect attendance will be eligible for attendance incentives monthly. The monthly attendance incentive is printed on the attendance tracker in our students' binders. Students who are tardy or leave early will not be eligible for the monthly attendance incentives.
- Restroom and Cafeteria Expectations: Please remind your child to practice respectful behavior in all areas of the school. In the cafeteria, students are expected to use indoor voices, stay seated, and clean up after themselves. In restrooms, students should use the facilities responsibly and return promptly to class.
- Parent Communication: Don’t forget to check your child’s binder, Class Dojo, and our Intermediate School Facebook page regularly for updates and teacher communication.
